Whats the obsession with virtual love,
Is the pain less searing when it breaks off?
Is it easier to get a date
if they can't see you?
Or is it lazyness these days?
Playing safe?
Miles away only a modem between them
Young love was sweet, now its confusing

Is he cheating?
Is she a minger?
Just a few things I've heard
From a chatroom sinner
E-mails can lie, so can photos
Is the fantasy intriguing?
Can you miss someone you haven't met?

All the computer jargon gets in the way
Crashing, viruses converts to
Cheating, accusations and arguments?
Is it safe to love on the net? safer?
You can't witness them yet,
You can't witness a heartbreaker.

It seems depressing, turning to the net
Have all the nice ones gone near you?
Or have the entirity of nice's gone?
You only have to tell what you want to
Distance protects the truth

Or are we keen about technology
somehow its doubtful but a hopeful maybe
It seems so innocent but danger prevails
Even guilty as charged can use this machine.

Lifes too short for regrets and maybes
Does our life leave us paralysed to help
help ourselves help eachother

Will society veer together
Will relationships form normally?

Or is this cyber thing here to stay?
