Repression Expression

don't shamefully stuff shit down
until in a rage of alcohol or drugs or rage itself
the barrier of repression, uncaps, or worse, explodes
and grief and hate and anger
maniacally unwind and rewind themselves
around the better part of yourself
that struggles but will never be victor
against baser emotions that fester
below the surface like a painful irritating pimple
that inevitably must pop
oozing vile and infected slurry
like the words coming out of your mouth
