I was rude
You indignantly say
So what do you want now?
I want to know
Why YOU went away

I was arrogant
You angrily say
For not taking responsibility
For my rudeness that day
But you don't know me
Enough to lecture me this way

Where did you go?
And when you reappeared to chat
You didn't realise then that
You'd arsed around enough by then

But my true feelings I'm reluctant to show
So it came across as a rude, shamless blow
