I love the melanin under our skins.
I love that we are made up of a thousand different blues, oranges,
greens.
I love the feeling of sheep's wool under my fingers as I run it through
our thick, curly hair.
I love the fact that man-kind began in Africa.
I love that we have soul.
I love that we are the creators of music, dance and street
fashion.
I love that we are colourful.
I love that we are responsible for blood transfusions and other
inventions that you will probably never know about.
I love that we are a religious people.
I love that we are a strong people.
I love that we are deep.
I love that we love to laugh.
I love that we are not afraid to cry.
I love that we respect our culture.
I love that we were once the Kings and Queens of the Earth.
I love that deep down inside we still are.
I love that we belong in the sun.
I love that where we come from there are no winters.
I love that we love to love.
I love that we go where our people are.
I love that we create styles that can never be replaced.
I love the fresh look of our children.
I love that we are an understanding people.
I love that we are proud.
I love this word 'love'!
I love that we make impacts.
I love that together we are powerful.
I love that 'back home' life moves slowly.
I love that we can accept all that is different.
I love that music will always be a large part of our lives.
I love that we fight for justice even when we think we won't win.
I love that we really 'do' want to go home.
I love that we cook with spices.
I love that we cook with love.
I love reading the literature of our people.
I love hearing my people speak.
I love our sense for style.
I love that we can do anything once we put our minds to it.
I love that we are a beautiful people.
I love our celebrations.
I love that 'we' built the pyramids.
I love that all our hearts cried for the Lawrences.
I love that as I write this I am listening to our music.
I love the electricity I can feel.
I love that we feel with our heart and soul.
I love that our voices have base.
I love that we can make something out of nothing.
I love that the soil of our motherland bears gold, riches, rubies,
jewels.
I love our full noses.
I love our full lips
I love our full vibrant figures.
I love that we look like oil paintings.
I love that our features are dominant.
I love that we use creams and oils to moisturise our skins and
hair.
I love the spirit of the 'Reggae Boys' for just being happy to be
there!
