Rush the wind

Rushing the wind into a fall of rain.
love splinters ambient sound into eddies and streams of grey fog.
Walking through music my dreams conjure in the still of the night,
you turn once so I can just see your smile in the fading light of the reykjavik moon.
Listen to the rustle of duck's wings for they are held so close by love within a circle of
pure water, pure heart;
rainbows of heaven.
Music falls from your face,
and tears envelop my heart as I turn away to see life tease you with all of its chattering noise.
The night slips down invisible stairs known only by the sound of a lover's heartbeat.
as time whispers through corridors billowing with curtains of lace that dance with the sun.
The moss,
you see,
under your feet,
it always grows and follows the path to long abandoned castles and timeless love.
It always follows my footsteps back to Iceland,
back to the dreams I held so close while the wind touched your heart.
