What is Modern Art?
A day to remember
At The Baltic
Contemporary Arts Centre
On The Awesome River Tyne
(Oh! What a day to remember.)
The Blinking Bridge with The Baltic Eye is the toast of Newcastle and
Gateshead, Quayside.
The Bridge and The Baltic Eye are an architectural treat, where all
the people dress technically neat.
The Eye surveys the world as it passes by, with broken dreams that
could make you cry.
Though! I saw a man and a woman, with shaven heads, and I cannot
forget their high heel legs, dressed in identical, space age
woven, and (rainbow threads): creating a stir and turning some heads,
walking together, hand in hand with handbags ready to
defend their stand.
(Oh! what a day to remember.)
Art has arrived on The River Tyne with an avalanche of pilgrims and
passers by.
I also saw a dancer; display her torturous form to standing applause
and public acclaim, accompanied by positive fame.
(Oh! What a day to remember.)
The Baltic Eye is a sanctuary of secrets; (a sacred place,) where
people can pose in their chitchat mode, dressed in their
colourful, designer clothes.
Where truths, myths, and white lies play: wrapped and ribboned every
day on lizard's tales, to be carried home by man made
slaves, or was it snails?
Gosh! (Oh! what a day to remember,) On the banks of the awesome River
Tyne.
