Devils plight

at the heart of hells fury he sits upon his throne

and for the very first time he feels truly alone

he glimpsed back to find the heavenly days

before he was overcome by such wicked ways

for infuriating God he paid the ultimate cost

gabriel was banished all paradise was lost

to this darkness hes bound to forever rule

with heart so black and a mind so cruel

so often the Devil dreams of heavens golden gate

for this fiery hell, with such passion he does hate

he would do anything, if it meant his return

to heaven above, where an angels love for him does yearn

but does she still love him?, does she still care ?

has she ever thought of him all alone down there?

How the one so wicked does wish he could change

his imbittered heart and mind he could rearrange

to thoughts so innocent like the angels above

releasing all his fury and letting in love

the Devil is truly sorry for what he has done

only too aware the damage cannot be undone

glancing into the fires of hell

once so pure until from grace he fell

deep into the fires so red hot with hate

to be ruler of this hell,such a pityful fate
