Depression

This black spot,
painted with nothing on the wall -
oh, how fast its getting bigger! -
and I, scared of losing you,
there and then, from my arms,
as the bed would open in two
and darkness would gulp you up.
I don't know why, neither do I want to know.
Sometimes things happen to be
what they seem to be,
and depression is depression!
