Heaven or Levels of Heaven&;#063;

I know it's said when you die you go to heaven. I believe this
myself. I have to wonder about it though. What if there is some sort of
gradual, promotional type system one must go through to finally reach
heaven? What if there are levels or grades to be passed?
Let's say you have this life and then you die. You go to heaven but
can't get past the gates because you haven't learned your lesson for
this life. You must go back and repeat a life till you get it right!
Almost like repeating a grade in school. Are you following my
idea?
This would explain having many lives as in "coming back as a
butterfly". It would also explain why little children have such
horrendous diseases and die so young. They must be at a very high level
and therefore very wise and learning the hardest lesson. It would
explain why you can sometimes look in a young person's eyes and say
they have the soul of a wise or very old person.
Well this is my thought for the day as I sit here pondering how my
mother is. She left this world a week ago today and I wonder if she's
in heaven. Or is my theory right and she has to pass another level? Oh
how I wish I knew. I wish I knew she was alright.
