Un-noticed For Who She Really Was.

One night, on Halloween of 1995 a baby was born. Her name was Laurie. Oh how her family loved her so. She was a very unique girl, Birght and pretty. Untill she started school..
All the kids were all dressed up nice, and everyone was becoming friends. But for laurie, no one noticed her. She had only a few close friends, she discribed herself as " Nothing important". As the first year of Grade One went on, Things were changeing. Laurie was starting to get noticed. But not the way she had hoped. From Grade 1 through 7, She had been teased. She was a very depressed girl. Lost and could not find her self. When she was only a child something happened, something that changed her life forever. When was in grade 1 she was playing outside in the yard with her friends. Her father had Ankers on the lawn, and told the kids not to go play around them. But unforanitly they did. An hour later, Laurie and her friends were playing tag. She was running after her friends, and ended up falling on an anker, and it went up her forhead. Ofcorse she was only 6 at the time, So she did not know what was going on. Her father called her mother at work, and went to pick her up. Laurie was rushed to the Hospital with blood running down her face, and tears comeing from her eyes. On the way to the Hospital her mother was crying saying "Please Laurie, whatever you do, do not fall asleep" And she asked a simple 3 letter word. "Why", her mothers only responce was "Please". Later on that night Laurie was put through surgery, And came out fine. Her forhead was sticked up, and the next morning she could go home. She stayed home for 2 weeks and then went back to school. Laurie showed up in class one morning and She had her hood up over her head. It was story time, and the teacher seen her and told her to take her hood off. And she refused. She was scared of what the other kids would say about her forhead. Unfortanly for laurie, the teacher aksed her what had happend. And thats when everything started to go wrong.
Her teacher had told the whole class what had happened to her forhead. Laurie was so houmiliated, she was only 6 years old and never wantted to be seen again. But she had to go to school, she had to learn. Her friends stuck by her, while she was going through this tough time. As the years went on, she approched Grade 3. And thats when her life was already falling apart at the seems. Some bullys at school were picking on her, and starting rumers about what happened to her Forhead. Ofcorse none of witch was true. There was two guys at school, named Austin and Tyler. They were the ones who Started the horried nick-names. The reason why they came up with those terrible and heart breaking nick-names was because they thought that she fell in a baitbarrel and hurt her forhead. But really none of that happened. Poor little Laurie, went home every day crying. Wishing she were dead. She never wantted to be seen again. She was getting older but people would not drop the names. Laurie was in grade 6 when her Parents decided to move. Oh how she was the happiest girl in the world. At the beginning of Grade 7 she moved to Alberta. Laurie then was stopped being teased by the bullys at her old school in Nova Scotia. When she moved, it was a whole nother world. She had to make new friends witch wasn't that big of a deal. She had met a girl in one of her options in school. The girls name was Shilo. Laurie and Shilo hung out everyday, had sleep-overs often. Sence that day where they became friends, they keap getting closer. I guess you could say they were pretty much like sisters. They had been through so much together. But sadly, Shilo was starting to get out of hand. She was starting to Drink, do drungs and cut her wrists. Laurie was being a friend, trying to guide her bestfriend tords a right path, But shilo refused. After a while, her parents could not do anything with her. She was an out of controlled teen. So it was in the middle of October 09 and her parents sent her away to live with her aunt in St. John. Laurie was heart broken. She cryed for days. The 2 girls birthdays were two days apart, And Shilo left before Lauries birthday. Poor little girl never felt the same way sence. Shilo had been such a great friend to her. Laurie was no longer a happy person, she never smiled anymore. She was not as friendly as she used to be. She never talked to anyone for the longest time. Laurie was an un-noticed for who she really was.
