Why I do not love you

I have toiled many great hearts,
but none so strong as the one that belongs to thee.
So giving, so charming.
I cannot see the great things that lie,
just beyond that broken smile,
or the slow trickling tear.
A life with you might well be,
with all the endless love you have for me,
safe, loving, passionate,
but in this locked heart of mine,
I cannot see,
the small things that make you big,
the laughs, the light you radiate to the world,
which I cannot bare,
as it delivers it's angel to me.
I cannot see you in all your glory,
and although I wish you every happiness,
I have to say that the reason why I do not love you is,
I love him very much,
the man who cannot take his angel,
as I cannot take mine.
