Derelict

Belladonna blends its flush
As primary hues collide
Attesting rank to brush and briars
Shameless spicule chide
Beneath the emerald gloss
Of ivy's lecherous hold
Centuries of mortars dust
Choke spectres tales untold
Where pitted oak
Toils treacherous span
Felled and shaped
By deft of man
Secrets rumour
Through ancient beam
A wealths demise
Bids no redeem
Only sunlight dwells
Where once glass kept
A thousand prophesies
Of souls long slept
Beside the ruined rest of fire
Vaporous whispers
Tend conspire
Fraying drapes curl
To tempt of breeze
Their weathered adorn
Plead last's appease
Rashes puncture oaken floor
Breaching wound
Where once stood door
Within this derelict abode
Crumbling walls
And reminisce erode
Riches past
Of all who've been
Dignity cast
A latent seam
A ruinous mark
Man's ancient make
Left to natures spoil
And times forsake
