Inorganic

I have a cardboard valentine
With curves of repulped waste
I nicked her from the movies
She's dependably defaced
Ok so, there's no banter
No charm, no grace, no thrill
No dating game complexities
No style, revile, no bill
I'm never left without her
She's compliant to my whim
Wrapped in half a roll of cling film
We can walk in rain or swim
She's inclined to fade in summer
But I have a respray kit
She'll flex to any given situation
Though she tends to crease at sit
She curls at fireside evenings
I sense the panic in her eyes
She never favours others
Never whinges, weeps, or lies
Our scales are always idle
My wages in the bank
The washing doubles as a shag pile
Ok, the smalls are somewhat rank
But she doesn't have a sense of smell
To her I'm always sweet
Names are never wrongly slipped
She comes to Lisa, Suze, or Reet
I don't need to buy her presents
To prove our love supreme
Every guy should have
An inorganic female dream
