Paranoid

Does your pencil tip offend you?
Does it smile a caustic mock
Do you eliminate the batteries
In your precisely ticking clock?
Left with just one shredded tea bag
Do you assume someone's
Poking fun at you?
Does the smile your flexed
Engulf you in suspicion
Is there something, echoing
You thought, they knew
Are your shopping bags pre-programmed?
To expel their load as you alight?
Is dusk creeping up on purpose?
So you have to sleep at night?
Are you mistrusful of all life-forms?
The stars, the moon, the sun?
Has paraniod delusion claimed your psyche?
Or are alien eccentrics, having fun?
How accurate is your judgement?
Could you be mistaken, and miss-aimed
Could you be imposing what you fear the most
Are the guiltless being blamed?
Do strangers track your known direction
Does every phrase apply to YOU!
Have I expunged your aka on purpose?
Perhaps, so you can't SUE?
Are there messages in the pavement cracks
Faces carved in every wall
Outsiders waiting, to peer inside your letterbox
Listening devices in your hall
Is you family, actually related?
Or actors paid to lubricate the game
Are you simply just suspicious?
Or clinically insane
