Guardian Angel

I was found by an angel, he hears my cries
and everytime he
spoke i believed his lies.
And he lay by my bed watching over
my dreams
watching the tears fall in
streams.


And i wept both night and
day
and he wiped my tears away
and i wept both day
and night
and i hid from him my hearts
delight.


So he took his wings and flew
away
then the morn grew cold and grey
i dried my
tears and hid my fears
with ten thousand shields and
spears


Soon my angel came again
i
was guarded, he came in vain
for my fears were hidden behind
these sheilds and spears
and my angel could no longer feel my
tears.
