You tell me I'm dark
More than just a little!
I always thought I was vanilla
But maybe that's your spittle
Running down my salty skin
From the anchorhold of your teeth
I may look vanilla
But you should look underneath
You tell me I'm dark
I kneel at your feet
Dark has so many layers
And none of them repeat
I always thought I was the light
I've been told that, too
But I guess to those beneath the earth
Dark lets the light shine through
You tell me I'm dark
I tell you it's growing
I'm getting darker every minute
And the deepness is all owing
To you my dark god
My influence my lover
Found the real me hidden, asleep
Stripped away my cover
You tell me I'm dark
I smile
