Dark demons stare
Upon me
They are a sight to behold
Don't know why
They picked on me
Someday soon
I will be told
Depression weighs heavy
They've a seat
Either side of my ears
They have no compassion
They sing throughout
My tears
Dark demons stare
Upon me
They thrive on hurt
And gloom
They put their fingers
In my ears
So I can't listen to reason
And don't let happiness
Enter the room
I'm fighting my dark demons
And I think I'm on the mend
But dark demons are relentless
And they'll get me in the end
