Yuletide Joy

Christmas is round the corner
The snow begins to fall,
Can you feel the thrills
and spills, the excitement
of it all.
All the happy faces
Feel all the yuletide joy,
Surprises and special
gifts, for every
girl and boy.
Listen for the reindeer,
As down you lay your head,
Snuggle up warm and toastie,
In your little bed.
Close your eyes nice
and tight,
And then Santa will appear,
He'll bring with him
all your gifts and lots
of christmas cheer.
He will sit and eat the
mince pies,
you left upon a plate,
And warm his cold toes
By the fire that's burning
In the grate.
Upon looking round,
And finding everything right,
He'll smile at you so kindly
And whisper his goodnight.
Then he'll take his leave,
and up the chimney will climb,
That jolly old man, dressed
in red, who is so silent
Everytime.
