D:: adamo quod dominatus

dedicate yourself to the danger of dreams which call as sirens do
every day,
her body never more beautiful in our rural home of laughter; her lips
break the morning
seal of sleep (breath be damned!)
with a viscous hello
and i love you
remember nothing matters
when you're together.
this isn't of love though, but secrets, loosened hearts, the
pound-pound-pound of desire
under molten skin, shoulder to shoulder &; morning to evening
surely the things you said to me (twice) were meant with a coy
come-hither
that unless amnesia overtook us, we'd spend all day in dream, life
annulled as desperation
asked us to quit work, do nothing but be each other's pillow &;
cover
stealthily
this afternoon, once the winter sun begins to echo a colored sky and
stars wander from behind their reservation
the hunt begins
prepare yourself.
