Galway Girl by Steve Earl but The Dong With A Luminous Nose by Edward Lear

Well, I took a stroll near the Zemmery Fidd
Of a day -i-ay-i-ay
And a girl sailed by in a sieve she did
Of a fine soft day -i-ay
And I ask you, friend, what's a Dong to do
'Cause her head was green and her hands were blue
And I knew right then I'd be takin' a whirl
Where the bong tree grows with a Jumbly girl
She danced in circlets all night long
Of a day -i-ay-i-ay
To the plaintive pipe of a lively Dong,
Of a fine soft day -i-ay
And I ask you, friend, what's a Dong to do
'Cause her head was green and her hands were blue
So I played my pipe and she danced a twirl
And I lost my heart to a Jumbly girl
When I woke up I was all alone
-
The Jumblies had sailed their sieve back home,
-
And I arose, and this I said:
What sense I had’s gone out’a my head
I’ve a wondrous nose, I've been all over this world
Boys I ain't never seen nothin' like a Jumbly girl
