You Know This Heart

I will sing alone
To the One whose presence I desire.
Longing to please the God
Who redeemed me into His ambition
For my Soul.
Our days, may call us bleak
But You’re on the throne
Flashing goodness if we would see it;
Let us stand against what is known
The world is in our eyes
I’m blind
And this is not home.
Your Son
`Jesus` the name to feel and say as if
Awe was just now understood then pronounced.
Jesus name above all names
You love in splendour and all is grace
I can only speak in cliché
Now that language has failed.
Lush
Let my heart reap this warm desire
Of longing for you.
You
The longed for truth;
You are only beauty
And when You are mocked;
Something is added to darkness
But You remain clean
The world screams abstractions
But Jesus
Lord of my life’s infinity
You know this heart
So I can sleep in peace.
