A Valentine Sonnet

How many valentines does it take?
To fall in love and be content
After all - I'm only a man
Trying to find the right woman.

My adolescent first was just a crush
But it felt good and oh so real
So when it crashed and burned
I was hurt and felt so spurned.

When love hit a second time round
I was older but still fell head over heels
She was an angel - with attitude
Angry, fierce and forever in a mood.

Will I find love this third time at hand
To be content - after all I'm only a man.
