Living.
Was watching the fabulous, Catherine Cookson, film yesterday. In the film, for the reading of the Will, the young girl was left the huge house. Her mum did not tell her, but sent the teen away, for semi hard labour! The teen eventually overheard that she was an heiress. There were conditions with the Will.
Now, there is such a thing as, Inheritance Tax, which is a shame.
My Mum many years ago, she over a few years, she paid for us to have double glazed windows, for all our home. Mum also paid for us to have a new bathroom suite; she paid for us to have new wooden floors and carpets! Mum also paid for me to have blinds all over the home. Mum made sure, we were well cared for, she is the Best Mum.
I worked with a man recently, and he told me, “My dad gave me, £25,000,” I thought WOW!!! I would with that money, retire with immediate effect! But I am SO happy for him. He told me what he is going to do with the money, he is going to be very sensible with it. His lovely dad, as been very good to him in the past!
It is not a legal term, but I call it a Living Will, for the parents giving to their children, while they are still alive, so they can know their children are well looked after. They can see that their money has brought joy. xXx
