Malta.

I love Malta. I have never been, I would love to go for a holiday there, ideally for a month. To everyone who I have mentioned it to, they have all said, “It is really lovely there.”
In my adult life, that is the only place I would like to go to. There isn’t anywhere else I would love to go.
If I was in hardship, dire straits, and had to flee the country of my birth, the only country, I have ever lived in, it would be to Malta.
If I had gone there, through the back door, illegally and was found and caught.
If I was taken onto a large boat big enough for up to five hundred people, I would not argue or mind. If I was informed that I would be there on the huge boat for nine months. To me that would still be like heaven on earth.
I would be in my dream country, my foot would be in the door, for me that would be the main thing. I would want to be part of their culture, and food and learn their history. I would be more than thankful to be in the country.
Some people might have thought it as cruel for me and others to be put on the big boat, but they are not me, for they don’t know my situation back home.
I would certainly hope that I would still be in Malta after the nine months is up, I assume it would fly by! I would cross that bridge when I got to it.
No one is forcing me to stay in Malta, if I don’t like it, I can always go back home. No way, would I want to do that. Malta will always be in my heart.
