Observations.

Recently I noticed some things, that I had not thought of before.
Someone I know, had bird poo drop on them, while they were out. It remined me, that years ago, when we hung clothes outside on the line, it was not common to see bird droppings on at least one of them, and that would need to be washed again. Most people don’t hang their clothes outside now, so that doesn’t happen. Clothes are now dried inside, or in dryers. Most of our clothes are dried inside, but in the Summer, they are put outside. Even with the pigeons who live a few doors from us, nothing thankfully drops onto our clothes.
I was behind a car yesterday and I love car registrations, I always try to make words out of them, some they are very clear. This car reg was TCP, now that is a blast from the past! I read recently about a singer that gargles with that before she goes on stage. My Husband Paul, still uses it, me I haven’t used it since I was a child. It is a very distinctive smell. The youth of today would not know that scent. It’s a smell that brings me straight back decades. But I thought, what does TCP mean?
Another car registration that I saw a few days ago, was CNN. I have heard of CNN, but know it is to do with American news, but until I saw it, recently I didn’t think to think what those three famous letters meant.
Finally, I was behind a large truck, one I don’t recall seeing before.
I’ve seen Sheep in transit, and horses, but this week I saw racing pigeon. I was behind it and wonder how they were inside, I assume they were in their own little cubicle/box, safe and secure. I assume it would be pitch black in there, so they would not feel afraid. It would not make sense to put so many in a cage, as that way they would be flapping around in the little cage, and would arrive at the races tired.
It gave me food for thought.
