Something To Tell The Grandkids.

Every year my wife, kids and myself go on holiday to the same place. We go there every Summer, our neighbours might think we are a pest, but we are not.
Two mornings ago, four of our close relatives, got separated from us and we heard they came to a grim end!
Yesterday another family member, met the same fate, it was not pretty.
This morning, I decided to see what all the fuss was about and went next door, I wasn’t afraid, but brave!
As soon as I entered the kitchen, I hadn’t been in there one minute, I saw a few of what I thought were my mates from work, but sadly as I got closer, I realized too late, that they had expired! They were dead, and I was stuck!
I decide to shout for “HELP!” But looking at the work mates there next to me, I didn’t hold out much hope, I had heard somewhere, “Where there is hope, there is life,” Or something like that.
It seemed like I was there stuck for a long time, then below me, I heard, “Paul there is a wasp stuck on the fly paper, can you come and help him?” Paul came into the kitchen, I was still trying to struggle to free myself, but to no avail.
Paul went and got some kitchen paper, and I heard Maxine say, “Be careful.”
Paul was very careful, as he reached up and very gently pulled me free from the fly paper and put me outside.
I didn’t think I would see outside again, as my whole life had flashed before my eyes!
I did see outside again, and when I went out, I went straight to next doors bathroom room roof and woke up the whole family, my wife and all our kids and told them of my dangerous adventure that I had experienced. It was good to be alive, I warned Mrs Wasp and our kids not to go next door, and described to them all, the others that I had seen that had not made it safely back home.
I had a blank diary until this morning, now I have something to write in it, and an unbelievable story to tell the grand kids.
