Innocence Lost

Young and so beautiful a complexion of peaches and cream,
White and pure on the outside hides dark secrets within.
Pink lace edges her cotton dress and ankle socks grace her feet.
The pressure he placed upon her
Insisting she is totally discreet.
As the darkness of night-time approaches flowing tears sting her cheek.
Her head rests upon the pillow, silent tears she will always weep!
He enters quietly through her bedroom door placing his hand across her mouth.
She is forced to participate in his childhood game,
Her body tense and rigid with disgust and shame!
Smiling he walks away from her, recoiling herself with pain.
Her innocence of childhood stolen once again!
Sunlight filters through the window...
Toys lay scattered upon the floor.
Opening her swollen eyes, they focus upon the door.
Crawling from her bed, dressing once again, entering the bathroom she gently locks the door.
A mother's love cannot protect her as she kneels down onto the floor.
Summer is almost over, the sharp blade cuts into her skin.
At last a new found freedom
A new life is about to begin!
The rich red petals fall from this rose.
Cruel weeds had choked her and never let her grow.
The sadness held within her stem, the world will never know!
No one to confide in she must end her shame.
There has to be a loser in every childhood game!

Wow, this is brilliant, I
I try my best to write gripping, interesting stories about real people in difficult circumstances. I also enjoy reinventing classics in a much darker, more horrificly gothic style.
