My Anchor

my ANCHOR

My heart yearns for an anchor
In this spinning, spiralling life
And everything I hold dear
Seems to be slipping away

Trials come to test me
I find I cannot stand
My heart wavers and falters
I see no meaning in life

Yet I know there's something beyond
Though I cannot see it yet
I know I must keep holding on
To find the One who holds me still
