In motion.

                Light as a dream on feathers.

                                                               This floating state.

                                                                                              For only a moment.

Sings like a song through cottonwood trees.

                                                  Distant lullabies.

                                                                              Sunshine on me.

Don’t worry about me.

                                     This is the memory.

                                                                       Of that daydream,

Forgive my mistakes.

                                      And all those heartbreaks.

                                                                                I’ve found treasures.

In this euphoric flotation.

                                         In this stunning dream.

                                                                               That is our existence.

A thirst for wholeness.

                                     The story into which my life fits.

                                                                                          Becoming more, not less.

Before the last melody.

                                     Floats away into the parting.

                                                                                  Where space between the current,

Fades into the sea.

                               That said, what a drift!

                                                                    Worth laughing at.

Having dreamt of billions,

                                          And billions of days.

                                                                           Like this one!

Many floated in this way before.

                                                    An awareness that searches.

                                                                                            For you.

How wide is the ocean?            

                                       As deep as the sea.

                                                                      Below the water's surface.

Rise on the waves;

                                  Above it all.

                                                      Like an instrument string.

Turning my pitch.

                                  Changing the flow of the mood.
