Autumn's Way
Rosehips, crimson cocoon like fruits
Splash the hedgerow with colour.
Blackberries, dark like the night - time sky
And a sunset pink
Leaves like fires on a winter's evening
Shining brightly
Morning dew sparkling in the early sunshine
Tiny apples detach their friendship
With the mother tree
Conkers like balls of rich chocolate
Here and There
Holly - crunchy, fresh, prickly
And emerald green
That is autumn's way.
