On choosing material

I like this
but try to see it through your eyes

The material's rolled
so I can't tell the whole pattern
how will it end?

Someone told me
orange is a hungry colour -
will I satisfy you?
or make you ready
to leave?

And yellow means Spring to me
time of beginnings
but could be danger...

There's a little blue in there too
colour of sky
where Heaven is I guess
or just space
and coldness?
as the light goes
dark colours grow stronger don't they?

Maybe I won't make curtains

we'll wake with the sun
looking through the same window

for I'd not shut out a second
of seeing you through mine :0)
