you write it would be bland
if we agreed on all things
I walk through the woods
in wind that fills these serene
green halls with a roar
of music beyond human beats
sets leaves dancing and I thrill
to this moving power
know you are right, for
still air so often turns to fog
that seeming soft at first
one struggles soon to breathe
it would conceal the space
between us, too, that lets me see
unknown paths I long to walk
free of the views making my walls
and while wind alone might chill us
naked as we get the feel
of each other
woven through the steady glow
of low afternoon sun, Love
the mystery of our colours
wraps us like shot silk
