Can we taste emotion or smell true success?
Can we truely be sure what is real?

Can we guarantee what we are taught is the truth?
Is the picture that's painted too rough?

What do we really know of the world?
What exists beyond our own senses?
Are there people or places yet to be found?
Or is the world just built on pretences?

What do we really know of the world?
Does time really exist?
Our history is only in memory.
Our future has yet to resist.

What do we really know of the world?
That we take things for granted.
We follow a path that rises and falls.
A path that is always enchanted.

We don't need to know the world.
Our experience is all we require.
To live in the moment and make our way.
Until we succumb and retire.
