Love is like the sea,
Mighty and unmerciful,
Whose furor has yet to be matched.
Waves lash out at the surface,
Killing all those it chooses,
Yet inside it is a world of its own,
Creatures living peacefully with no care in the world.
Man follows what his heart thinks best,
Misleading, treacherous, blinding it can be.
Man can choose his friends,
But no man e'er chose
The one he loved.
Unmerciful cupids,
Those darned pests,
Struck me unaware,
For a maiden,
Whom no words can describe,
No one can compare.
Love has yet to be proven,
No evidence has ever been found,
Yet I have all the proof I need,
It's hard to believe,
Too good to be true,
I am in Love.
