The old ones fade away
With half shut eyes
Bowed heads, and a
Bitter taste to take
Their place in the
Shadow garden far
Behind a wall of
Craggy stones and
Long abandoned wanting.
Today infused with mystery
As no old Guard remains to
Lead the charge. I have no
Ideas, no cravings, no
Demands; just questions stalled
On unkissed lips that bleed
When I try to smile.
My eyes on the verge of
Drowning as all the
Yesterdays dissolve
Into ripples spreading
Out into the universal
Darkness.
