Curiosity

It was Curiosity that did it. The neighbours suspected it, but I
knew it. Hadn't I seen the evidence with my own eyes?
She deserved it anyway, the haughty beast. Swaggering around the
neighbourhood with her nose in the air. And the worst of it was the way
she'd crept into my garden leaving her dirty little parcels
everywhere.
I knew who'd done it as soon as I saw him asleep on the grass. His
contented smile, and that little sman when he snored was enough to
convict him. But the big give away was the fur.
Those small clumps of ginger fur, sticking to the side of his mouth.
That's when I knew for certain that Curiosity had killed the cat!
