Story of the logo.....

On a nice & fine day I went to my bank to deposit a sum of money, debit card form, update my passbook and lastly deposit a cheque. I had filled all the form in advance. I made one mistake. I always make mistakes and after realising that I made a mistake I feel sorry for me. I reached the bank in the afternoon.
As I reached the bank I saw that the cash counter is empty so I hurriedly went at it to deposit cash. I was second in the queue. I deposited the cash and my passbook was updated there. Next I thought I should deposit the debit card form. I went to him. His desk was next to the cash counter. I gave him the form. When the clerk saw it he told me that it is the older form. I didn't say a word. Next I wanted him to talk me about the Internet banking facility. At that time he was busy with some work. Without noticing he was busy, I started talking.
"I just want to.." I said.
He interrupted me and said "I would finish this work then I would listen to you."
"I just want to inform you that my Internet banking account is locked. The phone banking operator has taken another request and I would get a new user id and password in seven to ten days. The previous account is locked." I told him and went to get a new debit card form.
Whenever I fight with some body I don't always feel good. When I was moving toward the desk I saw the peon and ask him "Where would I get the debit card form?"
That was one of my mistakes. I should not have asked this question. I should have been more polite. I was rude. So what you sow that’s what you reap.
"You would get this form here in xyz place" he told.
He gave me the form. I quickly glanced at the form and told him "the form is same. What difference does it make?"
"How does it not make a difference? The form is different because the logo's are different." he told me.
I had no answer to his question.I was stunned and to hide my mistake I told him “What difference does it make! In addition to that the paper is wasted and I would have to throw the form."
I thought everything was the same. All the labels and text boxes were same. Even the words in the declaration were the same. The clerk would have submitted my form if he had wanted to. Who would have any objection? I could not have thought of such a reason but I would have to go by the rules. So I gave up and decided to fill up a new form.
Now because of the logo difference I had to tear the old form and I had to again fill up the new form again. The logo had been changed a long ago. I didn't notice the change. A logo can make a difference so please be aware of the changes that are going around you. If you are aware then you can avoid double labour, time, money and physical pain, the guilt of making a mistake.
One logo can make a huge difference.
