The Darkness

The Darkness is a lonely place

it can be cold and hurtful

As the pain sinks in and the tears fall

You just want to be free from it all

But the darkness is thick and unforgiving

As the light becomes harder to see

You begin to think who would miss me?

Its easy to hide and stay away

but you realise that some how you must go on

You must fight on

Otherwise the darkness has won

You are almost blinded by the darkness

You stumble and fall

But shaking and bleeding you must stand tall

Then you hit your lowest point

Where you beg for no more

But the darkness shows no mercy

As it has and will consume the best of us

So how do you recover from this darkness?

My friends, if you have lost your way

You must pray

But only ask to be shown the way

Then you must trust and have faith

and trust me my friend you will be safe.
