Ocean deep

I am falling, falling down deep
in the midst of an expanding ocean
at first I panic and thrust around,
trying to surface
but I flail about and realise that I'm helpless
I give up hope and let the water
surround me..absorb me
as I sink deeper
The world vanishes before my eyes
I can see only a deep blackness
and a sense of peace surges over me,
I float down gently to the riverbed.
