James's Christmas Gift

It was just two weeks before Christmas. And James was wondering what he was getting for Christmas. No one was saying a thing. He had hinted to everyone he knew about the new ship. He wanted a new ship. One of those bright blue one would really be great. But know one seem to hear him.

He thought to himself I guess I'll end up with another game or something. Yeah, that what I really don't want. Now how could he make sure that they got him what he wanted?
His Farther said not to worry about it. It was all under control.

Under control what was that suppose to mean. Did it mean he was going to get the ship or not. Why couldn't parents just say what they meant. Either you got it or not.

Oh well, maybe I should just stop asking for it. But dawg, I sure would like that ship.

As the days wore on and the closer Christmas got the more James thought about the ship.
He thought about flying it. He thought about the color of it. He thought about it all the time. It got so that he could almost see it everywhere he went.

Christmas came in with bright lights and crispy air. It was filled with music and people singing and everyone filled with joy.

And that Christmas morning as James got up and rush to the living room to see what he had got. He stop and looked at the great big tree filled with lights and though how really wonderful it was and then he scan the front of it to see all the gifts that surrounded it.

Wondered was it there? Was it really there? But no it could not be.

He walked slowly to the tree, His parent sat having a blue brew as they smiled at each other. As he walked toward the tree. He looked and looked and then right there in the bottom underneath two big gifts was a small key. He pushed his hand though them. And grab
The key and turned to his parents and asked what it was for?

Why James they said it is for your ship of course. He looked at them and smiled but where was it? Where was the ship? And they smiled to each other and back at him.

And they told James to come with them outside. And they walked outside
And there was the most beautiful bright blue and yellow ship you ever wanted to see.

And James just smiled and smiled, his eyes all of glow. "Well, aren't you going to get in it, said his Farther. James was so excited he didn't know what to do.

His Farther and Mom looked at him and just smiled. "Well James, with a ship comes responsibilities, there are places you can go and places you can not. they said.
"Most of the planets in our sector are fine. "But we ask you to please stay away from the ninth sector, there is a planet called earth, you are not allow to go there, " Mainly because they are still a young planet and still have hostile ways.

"Well James Happy Christmas, Son. they said and with that James got in his space ship and went for a ride.
