Longing for a girl

You, the veil of my soul,
Forgot me my little
one,
You who kept
Paring my days
Clipping my
years
Scissoring the newspaper of my
life,
To make little men hand-in-hand.
And
now,
Not even your voice echoes
Through a soulless
earpiece
To tell me myriads of your secrets
That had
anchored in your soul.
Your dance has
stopped,
Had I known,
I would have learned your light
footsteps
By heart.
Right
now,
This very instant,
Everything seems
impossible
Because everything
Has sailed
away from our dreaming
You a
lotus-eater
And I, still, a stargazer
Waiting for
death.
