The Fellowship of the Ring began their journey in 2001, fought their way through The Two Towers in 2002 and celebrated The Return of the King in 2003.
IMDB stated that the trilogy was about “An innocent hobbit of The Shire journeys with eight companions to the fires of Mount Doom to destroy the One Ring and the dark lord Sauron forever. (FOTR). While Frodo and Sam edge closer to Mordor with the help of the shifty Gollum, the divided fellowship makes a stand against Sauron's new ally, Saruman, and his hordes of Isengard. (TT). Aragorn leads the World of Men against Sauron's army to draw the dark lord's gaze from Frodo and Sam who are on the doorstep of Mount Doom with the One Ring. (ROTK).”
The Lord of the Rings Trilogy has truly become a major phenomenon in the world. People began dressing up to become a part of the movie for their own enjoyment. I will say that I did become a part of this phenomenon. At home I own Sting, Frodo’s sword and I own an Elvish crown, just like the one worn by Arwen and Galadriel.
Okay so this review is about a trilogy. I was 11 years old when my father told me about it. He asked me if I would like to go see a movie at midnight. He said that it was about a Hobbit and a dark lord and a ring. I looked at him and thought that this movie would be cool. So I went with him to the premiere and we sat in the very front row (learning after that we would never EVER do that again) and my eyes were glued to the screen. I cried during the Bridge of Khazad-dum scene (not planning on giving anything away in this review). Then a year later the Two Towers came out in theaters and my dad and I went to the midnight premiere (this time we sat in the middle on the theater). I cried in this one too at the battle of the Isengard Wargs. Then in 2003, the final movie took over the theaters and we were there at the premiere. This movie was my favorite movie out of the three. There wasn’t a particular point in the movie when I cried. This movie still captures my attention, 9 years later. I love this movie with all my heart and nothing can ever change that.
“Even the smallest person can change the course of the future.” said Galadriel from IMDB
