Forbidden Suppositions

That shadow of truth,
That unanswered question,
We all look, some more than most, others play to fear that ghost.
That break, that change, all just a hidden place,
The burning memories, those childish thoughts, you claim to seek, just
a hidden place.
Jokers come, widows fade,
Your mind perplexed: a reasoned world?
Pools of blood, degrees of hate,
Polarised to the greatest fate.
We stand as one, unjustified alike, just simple minds, afraid to
fight.
Meaning has no meaning, just mindless dribble we want it to.
Whatever we claim this world to be, its shell is all we are to
see,
A care-free world you claim to be,
A desolate place you put to me.
We linger on, from day to day, this place we stand is not mine to
say,
Mixing confusion with fear, time comes money.
And with that we stand all joy and compelled, blocking the thought of
'why this world?'
I see more than you see,
Kindled?, loving? i think not
The meaning is scarce,
People cover, but it gets through,
They're shown the real you.
