~134~Dusk can fall.
As dusk falls the yellows turn into sienna
Although earths creatures wish it to stay
The sun disappears to beyond the horizon
Hopes pixies sleep and the evil comes out to play
Creeping shadows walk the poisoned earth
Spitting acid rain on to the dozing leaves
Weathering the even most beautiful flower
Tones of colours tell nights story in recitative
A violent wind whistles battering the trees
Can't give up, never stops, a worlds addiction
Fireflies feeding off the drug of darkness
Even the blackest of crimes don't lead to conviction
Daisy hides her face from the deep speckled blue
The white and the pink enclosed in her innocent bud
Thinking she is protected in her grass green shell
As rivers flood her pink turns to thick blood
Roses looking out from a violet frosted window
Selling their souls to make others laugh and smile
Watching the clouds masking the stars above
Growing heavier over seas, then, over civilisation sile
On a bed of gold the leprechaun cosily sleeps
Why do we need to catch him for him to give us all?
Greedy little man with a grey rainbow at his dirty feet
While tulips to get silver have to beg and crawl
Kicked and battered by the cruel people of the heights
Black roses can't be seen amidst the hatred and the night
What makes them different from the yellows and the pinks?
The purple of their bruises are only seen in light
All the worlds flaws are kept tightly in the dark
As the violence, rape, porn, drugs, prejudice,
Crime, racism, and rape duely make their shocking mark
Dawn rises building a mask
Rainbows form and good will seem to last
Waiting for a new day to play itself
And hurry up and get past
So the evil can play once more
Then dusk can fall....
