~100~Rosies Story.
She was a child so happy
Never known a girl so chirpy
Satisfied with the smallest details
A small doll or china animals
Would have her playing for hours
Her time, merriment would devour
Such a cute and charming kid
But her parents used to chid
Constant rebuking took away
Her confidence, was not to stay
The little things that used to mean
So much, her smiles were never seen
As she grew, sinking into a cage
A soul swelled by a burning rage
To live a proper teenage life
Having to fight a broken homes strife
Sucks all the fun out of living
Her heart harbouring a feeling of misgiving
In the depth of her depression
She took out her untamed aggression
Taking a pitch fork from next doors hay
She struck her fathers head that day
As he fell and her mother screamed
And Rosies face had never beamed
So much since her first doll
When her heart was so naive and small
To know the things he used to do
And everything he told her was untrue
If Rosie layed in her bed at night
He would come and make sure she was alright
Unknown to her mum he had other intentions
Much to her candid incomprehension
A wandering hand satisfyiing sick fantisies
Crawling over skin like a horrifying desease
Slowly breaching fatherly ties
By speaking his web of lies
As time went by his abuse elevated
Her hatred of him was carefully cultivated
He gave her a bath and left her washing
Just his way of preparing his plaything
Tempting the child to his lair
The deed that soon will cause dispair
Flash of a light
His delight
So Rosies face the bud of her innocence
Put to paper with so much permanence
As her age learnt right from wrong
She wanted somewhere else where she could belong
So her body wasn't taken for granted
And her soul wasn't unduly degraded
In the fork she saw a doorway
A way she could escape yet still stay
But she was deluded in her rage
Her secret was hers to keep
Everynight she used to weep
Even in death he haunted her sleep
Slice of flesh
Amongst the purple
Maybe he'll let her rest
In death.
