Branches Of The Family Tree

You are one of the branches
Of a large and wonderful family tree.
Not all the branches have matches
But it's still an awesome sight to see.

A few of those branches are missing
For they now watch us from above.
Keeping an eye on, and listening
To all those that they love.

But their branches keep growing
Each in a different direction too.
Their families keep on loving
All the ones that were left with you.

So we must take very good care
Of this family tree with all our hearts.
So we can see them there
When it is our time to part.
