who am i?
who will i be?
these questions
suffocating me
don't pretend
you don't feel too
their heavy weight
compressing you
each one of us
will watch the drop
of grains of sand
until they stop
each one of us
will watch the days
and wonder, were
there better ways
to do the things
that have been done?
we all desire
to be someone
we try so hard
to not be lost
we make our mark
at any cost
we shout and clamour
to be seen
so all the world
knows where we've been
who are we?
who will we be?
the universe says:
