We never had the best home in the street,
but it was always clear,tidy and neat.
We never had the best clothes to ware,
but we were taught tobe nice and to share.
We woundered how you did it,
how you was able,
to always put hot food on the table.
We never had money,
but the still got paid,
school uniforms ready,
beds always made.
We remember all the birthdays and christmases we had,
never a dull moment tobe upset or sad.
Looking back we never had much,
but we always had you mum a loving kind touch
