crystals,
diamonds,

jewels.

And their color,
absolutely spectacular.
It reminds me of

a violent storm,
the sunset
when the sky is
just turning
that wonderful
bluish purple,
the sunrise
right when the
first rays
just break
into little crystal
shards and rain
over everything.

They're mysterious,
like an Agatha Christie
novel right
at the very beginning
where you can't
predict who the
murderer/theif/etc.
is yet,
secretive,
like a box
marked
"do not open"
sitting in the middle
of a party
where everyone is
curious to the point
of palms sweating,
eyes darting
back and forth,
to see who will open it
and let everyone
else relax.
