Last Dance
Seasonal winds, bitter and cold
Biting frost, rain drowning the outside garden
We notice only our possession of each other
No fault of fate - except no pardon.
Happiness explodes our bodies
Washed into each others soul with delight
Darling, the beauty of this monsoon
Last dance together - our last night.
In your arms, the quicken heart beat
Two rocks covered once by the sea
Darling, I have waited an aeon
We conquered the flooding to be free.
Complete, like the waiting of a flower's bloom
A belonging symbolising child's play
Wrapped in the love of black and white film
Anything for you - anything you say.
